Just Arrived in Canada

Barbecuing outside in the winter is certainly different in Canada than in Australia. No kangaroo on the barbie this time either ... Check out the cool snowman that the kids built. They are enjoying the snow so far. We saw these deer down in Fish Creek Park in Calgary. They crossed the path about 8 - 10 metres behind us and we watched them for about 5-minutes. Caleb was amazed and Jessica was a bit terrified.
We walked for about 3 km that day, which was a lot for little Jessica. This is her lying down after eating half and apple about 3/4 of the way through the walk.
