Missed Our last Scrabble game. Tamara is quite the wordsmith, me, not so much... Love you...
Off for a walk with Elijah. Meeting their new cousin. Trip out to Banff on the last week of summer.
Orphaned elephants in the background. Conference Centre Lobby.
The initial Kenya GENESIS team consisting of a Canadian, an Australia, an American and two Ugandans. We were then joined by two Koreans.

Such is YWAM eh? Jessica joined me tonight while I did a Skype interview with Cliff Ravenscraft for the YWAM Podcast. Father's Day 2011 spent at Forgetmenot Pond in the Kananaskis.
Father's Day 2011 spent at Forgetmenot Pond in the Kananaskis. Hiking with Caleb in Kananaskis by Allen Bill Pond. Announcing Elijah Bruce Hutchison. Born April 29, 2011.
Elijah's first outdoor adventure. Some special Caleb and Daddy time while he's home after yesterday's accident. Found this photo taken at a North Queensland Cowboys Football (Rugby League) game with Caleb's Pop.
A face for radio (or podcasting). A fun night at the hockey game. Some good father son bonding at the game.
Jessica's favourite part of the game was the ice cream. Tamara said that it reminded her of when she went to the footy games with her family. I have a sick little girl to contend with today... This photo was taken just before the knife broke, which Tamara promptly told me was a family heirloom (she told me later she was joking, it was from the hotel!).
At the top of the stairs at the reception, which was held at the Centro, which became the Holiday Inn in Townsville. It's the big salt and pepper shaker in the middle of town. Our parent's. I think that the mom and mum must have coordinated ... Another shot at the end of the pier.
This was our first date in July 2000. This is the night that we got engaged.

I remember keeping Tamara on my right side for the whole night so that she wouldn't notice the ring box in my left pocket ... In Kenya on our trip with GENESIS for the YWAM University of the Nations Conference in 2001 just after getting married.
In the old YWAM Reef to Outback offices. Visiting Billabong Sanctuary while I was on my Basic Leadership School and was staffing a DTS. The wedding party, taken at the break wall in the garden of Jupiter's casino, where we had our wedding ceremony.
The bridal party - photo taken in Queens Garden's in Townsville. Tamara's family at the wedding. My family at our wedding.
They didn't have room for us on the drive back to Townsville, so a few of us hung around in the hammocks for a few hours waiting for a ride back down from Hidden Valley. At one of our YWAM dinners. Got to love YWAM dramas. Where else is a student allowed to kick their staff in the back?
January 1999 YWAM DTS from Reef to Outback while we were camping. Some of what we got up to on the GENESIS School ... The YWAM Basic Leadership School from July 1999.
In Switzerland during my GENESIS school in late 1999. For some reason we were sent cold weather gear when we were in Townsville. The only way we put it on was inside in the air-conditioning. My grade 3 or 4 school photo.
My bowling team when I was 8 and 9. I reckon that this was probably on the bus to the Edgewater Fortune, a ship that we went on for a week in Grade 9.
Here were the kids as they waited for you at the airport... Welcome Breakfast for the July 2000 DTS at Reef to Outback (I think).
The log ride. Definitely not Jessica's favourite ride, she was terrified. Caleb loved it though and wanted to do it again, but I wasn't willing to wait another hour to do it again. Barbecuing outside in the winter is certainly different in Canada than in Australia. No kangaroo on the barbie this time either ...
Camping up at Lake Paluma. Our entire DTS before going camping with the old six-wheeler.
Our Vanuatu / Fiji outreach team outside of a primary school in Nadi.

Got to love the cultraly appropriate dresses that the girls are wearing. Almost as good as those skirts us boys got in Vanuatu. Getting ready to go swimming. Our camp site.
Most of the outreach team (minus Faith Dutton) in Fiji at the end of our overseas outreach. Worship up at Valley of Lagoons. Creative Devotionals while camping at the Valley of Lagoons.
Hmm, not sure if I should put this one up of me wearing a skirt.

In Vanuatu they are manly ... honest. Hmm, I reckon that I have changed a bit since 1998, what do you reckon? Much to her Dad's relief Tamara is finally married to an Australian now.
With the Australian Flag and my Citizenship Certificate on the day I became a Citizen of Australia A Proud Australian Family Receiving my Australian Citizenship Certificate from Les Tyrell, the Mayor of Townsville.
