Happy Easter
Easter is always a time to remind us of why I am serving as a full-time volunteer with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) with the Circle 18 team.
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3-5)
Having been in full-time volunteer missions for 17-years I am often challenged about what I am doing, and why I am doing it. Easter, more than any other time of the year, is a good reminder of why we do what do as Christ’s final command on earth to His followers was:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
During Easter we remember Christ, His gift to us, and His command to go into all the world …
